    In Holland, It is Now Illegal to Fly the Dutch Flag In Schools

    I do not read Dutch, the original article is in Dutch here :

    http://www.telegraaf.nl/binnenland/1...verspreid.html

    However it has been translated to English by the following Blog sites :

    POLIPUNDIT.COM here : http://polipundit.com

    and;

    Little Green Footballs :

    http://littlegreenfootballs.com/webl...ry=14558#c0023

    Both sites by the way, were active in debunking Dan Rather's memgate when it first came out.

    The English translation is as follows :

    ====================================
    In the Netherlands the national flag is now banned on most schools. If a student wears the national flag of his own country he will be suspended or expelled from school. The reason for this is that this provokes the immigrants (the muslims) and therefore it is considered discrimination if you wear your country's flag in your own country. Even people who have an bumpersticker with the flag on their car are harassed and called a facist by the Muslims. Most schools also ban certain clothing like the Lonsdale brand and combat boots with white or red laces. This is also considered a sign of racism.

    There are of course no restrictions for the immigrants on clothing.

    Of course, the Dutch are also planning to insistute a test to curb their burgoening 3rd world country immigrants. SEE HERE :

    Dutch plan test aimed at curbing Muslim migrants

    By David Rennie in Brussels

    (Filed: 05/02/2005)

    People applying to live in the Netherlands will have to take an examination to prove that they understand the language and culture, the government has proposed.

    The test will require 350 hours of study and cost £250.

    A video for migrants contains images of Dutch life
    It is the latest sign of the growing hard line on immigration after decades in which Holland has been one of Europe's most relaxed nations.

    Murders and death threats from Muslim extremists have been matched by rising assaults on immigrants and arson attacks on mosques.

    There are now nearly a million Muslims in the Netherlands, or six per cent of the population.

    Announcing the proposals in parliament late on Thursday, the immigration minister, Rita Verdonk, said a video film designed to capture the essence of Dutch life would be sent to applicants in their home countries.

    The Dutch flag;

    It's just a red stripe, a white stripe, and a blue stripe.

    Racist? BUT WHY ?

    SOME MORE THINGS TO PONDER ....

    the Rotterdam Film Festival a screening of the short film about forced marriage and family rape among Muslims was cancelled. The screening was percieved by its organisers as a tribute to the film's creator Theo Van Gogh slained by Islamists... but the politically correct cowardly Leftists deemed it "a security risk".

    In Boston public housing, they banned public display of the SHAMROCK as being divisive and xenophobic. This display also included cases where residents put them up on the inside of glass windows, where they would be visible to the outside world.

    Remember just after 9/11 when Dan Rather and his ilk wouldn't wear American flag lapel pins because they felt that it would hurt their journalistic "integrity" and they would appear biased.

    I remember in pre 9-11 days that the NYC public school system specifically provided for prayer facilities, special lunches, etc. during Ramadan. Don't know if they do this now... That was while many phone calls would descend on any public school having anything to do with Christmas

    One last go figure item .... I wonder if Muslims like tulips....always thought there was something racist in those great big white petals

    At what point do we say --- THERE IS NO UNIVERSAL RIGHT THAT EXISTS FOR YOU NOT TO GET OFFENDED.

    BTW, Does anyone read Dutch or know anyone that does ? Since I was the one who posted the original piece and it is in Dutch and I only depend on the sites I reference for the English translation, I am screwed if the translation turns out to be FALSE.

    Just keep that in mind.

    Flags are small stuff

    I personally am offended by the image above of a windmill. Everybody knows windmills mean Dutchmen.

    The government is now populated with slime-balls and half-witted small time con artists whose choice of careers in "public service" were predicated primarily on their lack of courage to rob gas stations and convenience stores. RogerFGay
    Obama could piss in the mouths of these media worshippers, and they'd just stare up at him in orgiastic excitement, then boast to their family and friends that they'll never brush or gargle again.PaulRevere
